such as Abellio Germany good opportunities for growth. The advancing liberalisation of local public
transport by road and rail and the upcoming tenders for various regional transport networks are a challenge.
I look forward to an exciting job in an equally exciting market.”

to four members. In addition to Shahriar Fatemi, Finance Director, Dr. Friedrich-Wilhelm Rademacher has been appointed Operations Director Bus, and Ronald Lünser has been appointed Operations Director Rail. . In addition to his new role, Lünser will retain his position as Managing Director of Abellio Rail NRW GmbH.

Anton Valk, CEO of Abellio Group commented on the appointments, “I’m delighted that in Bernard Kemper
we have a Managing Director with proven and broad expertise in the international logistics and service sectors. In combination with the appointments to the Board of Dr. Friedrich-Wilhelm Rademacher and
Ronald Lünser I believe management focus on the operational business will be strengthened.”

“I would like to thank Shaun Mills who has displayed huge commitment in driving the integration of Abellio Germany with the parent company, Abellio Group, and has been instrumental in delivering the consolidation measures aimed at stabilising the German platform. During his tenure he has never forgotten the needs of employees or passengers. We will both carry fond memories of our excellent collaboration during this time and I would personally like to wish him all the very best for the future and success in his new position.”
