| Cameron Jones – Director Public Affairs Abellio UK | |
 | Cameron joined Abellio in September 2005 as Director of Public Affairs for the UK. In this role he is responsible for external communications and the management of stakeholder relations in support of the company’s corporate reputation and business development objectives. This includes the coordination of communications activities with Abellio’s operating companies and the management relations with central and local government, transport authorities, regulatory groups, community groups, politicians and others in a position of influence in the UK rail and bus industry. Before joining Abellio, Cameron was an Associate Director at the Waterfront Partnership, where he provided support in the bids for the Northern Rail and Merseyrail franchises. Prior to this he was at the Department for Transport for 17 years, during which time he held a variety of Parliamentary and policy positions. |
